one thing i noticed is that most of the time the perspective is consistent and relatively limited, where you describe what people are doing or saying, but not what they're thinking, or what things look like; but then, out of nowhere, you'll describe a thought that someone has, or the color of something someone sees. i thought this was distracting when it happened.
i read it, several times! it was unexpectedly exciting and strangely written. i'm wondering what happens next!
